Did you know that lightning strikes about 6000 times per minute on this planet?
No, but what I'd like to know is this: Why can't one of those lightnings strike one of 'em assholes - one at a time? .............................................
Did you know that traffic lights were in use before there were motorcars? No, but isn't it ironic that now that there are motorcars (and lots of them), traffic lights are either rarely used by motorists or completely absent where they are needed the most. .............................................
Did you know that the average human brain has more than 180 billion cells, of which more than 80 billion are directly involved in the thinking process? Amazing. But what's even more amazing is the fact that not many people actually bother to use their brain cells for that purpose. .............................................
Did you know that whilst a fresh egg will sink in water, a rotten egg will float? Hmmm ... I wonder if the same rule applies to human beings ... will George W. Bush float when put in water? (Quite a shame, really, if it does - except if it's the other way around, where the rotten ones would sink.) .............................................
Did you know that it is possible to produce genetically-modified plants that can grow plastic? That's great. Maybe someday the saying `money doesn't grow on trees' would become redundant and sound as silly as Paris Hilton's attempts at `singing'.
